That view hasn't changed much in over a hundred years & that 'Criterion Hotel' at 2-4 Ocean Rd is still there today.

The modern view has no character whatsoever, this is called progress, I don’t think so.

Does anyone know when that area was pedestrianised? I'm sure I can remember driving down Ocean Road in the early 1990s, though I could be wrong.

Other than the pedestrianisation and the modern supermarket building it Han't really changed that much!
