A Shark washed ashore in Druridge Bay

Posted by Norman on 24/9/2026, 4:04 pm

This is a photo my son sent me today of a Shark washed up at Druridge Bay on the Northumberland Coast. There must be more so as a joke I asked him 'I wonder if it's safe to plodge'? & he replied 'only if you wear wellies Dad' 😁😁

I got this online
Authenticity vs. Content:
Even though the shark in the image represents a very specific, real-world species, the image file itself is highly likely an AI-generated rendering or a heavily altered composite rather than a genuine wildlife photograph.
It will be interesting to see if any reliable News sources in the UK reports this!

The report of a shark washing up on Drudge Bay beach appears to be real, but this photo looks very much like AI to me!

Aperson was killed by a shark a couple of days ago here in Australia- on the east coast.
