BBC Politics North programme this morning

Posted by Thomas Buglass on 27/9/2026, 12:21 pm

Watching the show, Emma Lewell was in the studio and to me, she has got to be the most nastiest and arrogant MP. She’s fine when she is talking but when other MPs are talking she always interrupts the person talking and starts arguing with them. How the heck she’s been a MP since 2013 beats me.

Thomas, I’ve not seen or heard Emma Lewell but Bridget Phillipson interrupts and talks over everyone. Such a chippy woman.

No problem Thomas, your post just reminded me of Bridget Phillipson.

I remember the first time she spoke in the House she was so embarrassing it made me cringe.
