No wonder BBC is losing money

Posted by Thomas Buglass on 18/10/2026, 10:59 am

Put BBC on 8am this morning to watch the news and guess what sport on 1 till 9am and sport on 2 till 10.30am. No wonder more and more viewers are not paying their licence.

I agree Thomas, I did the same, then went to 231 for some news.

As I don’t watch much TV, I would never think of having Sky. It’s only not having adverts that keeps me with BBC as I mentioned 231 gives us News 24.

Never watch BBC news far to biased, Sky News still biased but not as bad as the BBC, ITV OK but has it’s moments, afraid it’s GBNews for me as they always have people in from most of the Political Parties including the mad Greens so I feel they provide a cross section of comments etc.

Liz Dance, you use the term ""Mad Greens""......are they as crazy as the Greens party we have here in Australia ??

Steve, the Green Party started life as ‘tree huggers’ had some crazy policies now, and this in only my opinion, they not only have some mad policies but they are extremely dangerous in what the believe in, they make Jeremy Corbyn look like a pussycat by comparison, and right now he has even more crazy ideas than normal, both Parties, to my mind, seem to embrace terrorists, unfortunately my Constituancy voted in a Green MP at the last Election, don’t think she has a hope in hell of getting re-elected seems very anti The Armed Forces, strange that as within her Constituancy we have the SAS Base in Hereford!!!

It indeed looks as if your Greens Party is as crazy as here in Australia, we have a Senator who is Pakistani, holds Dual Nationality (Illegal for a seat in Aussie Politics) she hates Australia and the Australian way of life, but is happy to take the almost $300000.00 pa salary.

That sounds about the same as it is in the UK, the Greens and, some of the Labour MPs seem to think that the House of Commons is the House of Palastine as they only seem to be interested in what goes on in Palastine and not their own Constituancy, but hey they love taking the money!!.,

All the news stations have their own agenda, none of them are unbiased.
