Local History surviving..

This board is a goldmine of local history for many of us and the input is unreal at times! After 70 yrs of studying Newcastle you get to the point where you think you know a lot, but the pops up Brian for instance with a lot more and off you go again! Well done Brian! I love the things that crop up. Today, I looked at St. Thomas church on this board and it was a picture ! Sometimes I cannot believe the topics that crop up but this is a great board. However, I often think of what will happen if a new generation came along. Would they take over the local history?
