If your looking for an easy yet relatively cheap recipe for leftover turkey, this is a great recipe to try!
1/2 cup leftover turkey
1 green pepper finely chopped
4 strips cooked bacon, broken into pieces
1 (15 oz.) can black olives
1/2 onion
cheddar and/or Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 box Jiffy pizza crust mix (or prepared crust)
1 jar pizza sauce
garlic, red pepper seeds, oregano, onion powder (optional)
For starters, the best thing to start off with at least in my opinion is cooking your bacon and preheating your oven. Once it is done you will need to, as it is stated above, break it in to little pieces or to what will best suit you tastes. Second you will need to cut your onion, which can be left in rings, and you green pepper.
Then, you will need to mix and prepare your crust as explained by Jiffy or whatever crust you choose to buy.
Next, you should sauce your crust. Sometimes, depending on the brand you buy, the sauce is bland. So I add spices such as garlic, oregano, onion powder, and for extra spice, red pepper seeds. Finally, you will need to cheese your pizza and top it. Then put it in the oven at 350°F and bake until the crust is a light brown and the toppings are melted.
