Works with all brands of air fryers.
2 lb. ground beef
1 cup bread crumbs
3 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp paprika
pinch salt and pepper
12 lettuce leaves
3 med. tomatoes
2 med. onions
6 hamburger buns
ketchup (Hunts)
6 cheddar cheese slices
Place ground beef in a bowl. Add bread crumbs, finely chop 1 of the onions and mince garlic. Mix together with paprika, salt and pepper. Form into 6 round patties a bit wider than your hamburger buns.
Place burgers in air fryer with double layer accessory (if available, otherwise cook in two batches) and cook for 10 minutes at 400°F.
Place 6 hamburger buns in air fryer basket and heat for 2 minutes at 400°F.
Tear lettuce leaves, and slice 3 tomatoes and onions. Spread a little ketchup on the open hamburger buns. Place the lettuce leaves on the bottom half of the buns. Place a cooked burger on the lettuce leaves and cover with a slice of cheddar cheese. Continue with a slice of tomato and a couple of onion slices. Cover with the top of the bun and serve.
Serves 6.
