BROWNIES 1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. water 2 c. (12 oz.) chocolate chips 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1 tsp. vanilla 2/3 c. flour 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional) Cook sugar, butter and water in medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until it boils. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips until melted. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, soda and salt. Add to chocolate. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips and nuts. Pour into greased 9 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. (You know this is rich--a whole bag of chocolate chips in a 9 x 9 inch pan! Mmmm!) |
