- I remember a quote, attributed to Ghandi, probably wrongly, that in a democracy with a stupid leader, the people are well represented. I think there is something to be said for limiting the franchise to some subset of society. 10% of the population have an IQ that is so low that even the military can't find use for them. Should they be voting? Why?
Did you know some government regulations encourage automakers to build large cars and trucks?
- I'm not sure which regulations those are.
Did you know some small pickup trucks are banned in some states?
- I do know that the K-trucks and such do not meet American safety standards. Now, I could see the argument that people should be ALLOWED to choose to buy vehicles that do not meet those standards if they are more efficient.
Instead of making EV's mandatory, would it would
be better to allow people to buy small vehicles?
- Do you think that safety standards should be waived to make more efficient vehicles?
Have you tried driving an EV? Was it fun to drive?
- I have not driven one, but electric motors are torque monsters and everything I have read indicates they are fun to drive. It is the range limits and re-charge challenges that discourage buyers, not the lack of fun.
How do trees convert mud and smog into nutritious fruits? Ultimately by pulling carbon off of a CO2 molecule and putting it to other purposes.
