If that is so, then it can be rewritten and changed, correct?
And who is/was the programmer?
Break it down abit.. first, free Will and Omnipotence. The idea is that God's omnipotence doesn't mean He controls every action directly but rather that He has the power to create beings with free will. Us. God allows us to make our own choices, even if they go against His desires. This doesn't diminish His omnipotence; instead, it reflects His ability to create autonomous beings.
Free will and Omniscience. So, God's knows everything, including all possible outcomes of our choices. But His knowledge of our decisions doesn't necessarily mean He determines them. Think of it like an author who knows the ending of a story but allows the characters to act freely within the narrative.
Which leads to His sovereignty. I believe God's sovereignty includes His decision to allow free will. God remains in control of the overarching plan for creation, but within that plan, humans have the freedom to make their choices. This coexistence of divine sovereignty and human free will is greater than my understanding.
Our human freedom, to me, is a gift.. and one that can be abused. And that has more to do with God's laws than most care to admit. His perfection, holyness, wisdom... these cannot be attained by any human means our "free will" can devise or create ... because of that funny three letter word so many get stumped on to obey it or God. Sin.
He has a plan for anyone with "free will" to obtain release from it - as well as it's far reaching and damaging effects... but then again.. that's a choice. One anyone can make every day they are alive and conscious. Sentient.
I think it is an attribute of that free will to question, ask, search any truth out.
We're free within these human confines. That almost sounds antithetical, no?
