I don't believe it's the media's job to debate administration officials about their jobs.
I'll find where I got that initial interaction from...I think it was on a social media page..
However, I really don't trust the flood of media as it is today. Years ago.. it was actually used by the new government - for The Declaration of Independance to be widespread.
The media of the time—such as newspapers, pamphlets, and public readings—to disseminate its message and rally support.
The Founding Fathers understood the power of public opinion and the importance of informing the populace. By making the Declaration widely accessible, they ensured that their cause could gain traction among the colonies and garner sympathy from foreign nations. This strategic use of media helped unify the colonies and legitimize their struggle for independence.
Today, it is the exact opposite... anti-government, divisive hit pieces which no one can rely on.
