I'm not sure what the uproar is about having people who are illegally in the country removed. Either get rid of a law or enforce it.

I don't agree with the methods though. Because the issue of illegals has been obvious to all and seemingly just accepted for so long, illegal's have built lives there, worked, raised children and in that context it is wrong to suddenly apply the law with such rigor, lack of compassion and basic lack of common sense (and common decency). Also a problem if they (ICE) are trying to circumvent natural justice. But I don't know for sure if that is happening or not.

In saying that, throwing rocks at police and burning cars because valid laws are being enforced, is plainly wrong and will reinforce any already present bias.

Either way, it is very complex, and overly simplistic 'black and white' views held by the left or by the right are unlikely to be a true representation of the issue in reality.

I think this process should have occurred over years, not days.
