Hmmmm.
I was baptized (dunked) at age 10. I did so on my own childish volition. I asked to be baptized. I think at 80 the shelf life has run out. The issue as I see this is a child should not be allowed to be baptized given the diminished mental capacities. And potential conceptual child abuse allegations. Even an 18 year old might not. The brain for the human male is not fully “cured” until age 30. If atheism is child abuse, then perhaps it falls under the category of child neglect. Then again is seeing images of Jesus nailed to a cross mentally healthy for a child? Is the end of the world prophecies a good subject for Sunday School? Madeline O’Hare, queen of the atheists, sad life and ending, might be a warning to the godless atheist heathens.
