I am a firm believer in power corrupting and absolute power corrupting absolutely. Some administrations are better than others, some are worse. Often times we are forced into a position of having to trust the government, or maybe its better to say to go along with it.

Trust is to be earned.

Mark Twain: "Loyalty to country always. Loyalty to government, when it deserves it."

I have yet to find government deserving of trust.
