The air has improved, but it still causes health problems for some people. Does it make sense for a city like this to give rebates and incentives to EV drivers and solar power plants?

Los Angeles is a big crowded city with millions of cars. It's surrounded by mountains that hold in the smog. We also have a big sunny desert with empty land north of here where we can add solar power plants.

I was born in this city and spent most of my life here. In 1978 I joined a swim team. I did a hard swimming workout about 5 days a week for about 7 years. Later I got involved in mountain bike riding. I pedaled up long steep hills even on smoggy days. I didn't realize how much harm I was doing to my lungs.

Now I have lung damage. Now I drive an Electric Vehicle for work. I spend about 40 hours a week driving people all over in the EV.
