They interview and leave candidates waiting for weeks before giving them an answer, and just figure that because of the market, the person will wait.


Over time this becomes very disconcerting and depressing, especially if there's a job you'd love but can't wait so you interview more.

I know very capable people who go for 10 or more job interviews. They had to put out a LOT of resumes to get a response at all.

It's an employers' market and they know it.
