Those recent “Lidar” images show immense structures under the pyramid, if one can believe such a scientific claim. As for Hawass, it’s been known for years he is crooked. Many years ago I recall being in the Petite Trianon Mansion in San Francisco. I was astonished that the house was stuffed with Egyptian relics including a sarcophagus. Was there a mummy too? Later I learned the house was a “gallery” and was selling these items to clients. Was it legit? I wondered.
