Example: 950 out of 950 in GRE for Mathematics. It does mean that I am a genius, but it DOES mean that I studied very hard (70 hr/week for years) and actually learned the material well. It does NOT make me an outstanding mathematician like Karl Gauss or Emmy Noether.
