For some stupid reason the Jews thought they could force out the Romans. Bad idea. Very poor geo-political judgement. Jews lost. Rome exported Jews, many as slaves. What is intriguing is the diaspora influence on Europe. Having moved out of old Israel, the people left took over. Bedouins. A natural progression. Others settle there. It’s not as if the region remained vacant and held in trust. Unless one accepts Gods promise as a ‘trust’. Which doubt you do. You likely ascribe the resurrection to being wholly secular. You don’t see the paranormal factor. And that’s the key stone. A smart secular people going forth unconscious to God’s ordained prophecies
