No attempt at empirical proof of the existence of God has ever come anywhere close to success. It is, in fact, a scientific impossibility to arrive at existential proof of any phenomenon that is asserted to contain supernatural elements. To make such an attempt is, in fact, a category error.
This is well-trodden ground, philosophically.
