Salem Witch Museum is about a rather importpart of Massachusetts history.Salem Villege just outside of Salem Town was deidied and going through rough times, divided socilly beteen thise thet had budines eith the toen and those that did not. 19 speople would br faldely accused of practicing witchcraft ahd executed, but hundreds would accussed throughout New England.

When it was amitted that those accused, those who had been convicted and executed had been innocent, Salem Villege was so embarassed that they changed their name to Danvers.

That actual history is what the Witch museum is about,false accusation, false execution.

Ironcially I lived trough something similar the Satanic Child Abuse Panic of the 1980s and 1990s. People falsely accused, some conviceted and jailed for several years. Thoe people had their lives and families devistated.

I found it hard to believe that people could still be so stupid. Made my starting in Wicca rather interesting.
