Do you know how to drive with a manual transmission? What if the clutch breaks?

Do you know how to drive a manual with a broken clutch?

I used to have an Acura Integra with a 5 speed manual. Once the clutch stopped working, but I was still able to drive it about 5 miles to the car service place to get it fixed.

I told the stupid service people that the clutch stopped working, but they could not figure out how to drive it. The stupid service technician just sat in my car grinding my gears, then they turned it off and pushed it into the service area.

I was able to drive about 5 miles with the broken clutch but the stupid service people could not even drive it 50 feet into their shop.

Nor would I have had a self-driving car, I enjoyed doing all the driving.

Initial answer was "Yes" and then "No". Really interesting

My 2003 BMW Z4 3.0 is 6 speed manual. 22 YO now and still in perfect condition

It had a 5 speed manual and an 8100 RPM redline with VTEC.

It was fun to drive and I wish I still had it:

All my cars had a five speed manual, until I bought an Electric Vehicle with no transmission.
