Should colleges discriminate against people based on skin color?

What if they want to use "Reverse Discrimination" or "Equity" to try to balance out past injustices?

"Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, and national origin in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance."

In elementary school I was taught "Two wrongs don't make a right", so I'm opposed to reverse discrimination.

Goes without saying. No one should be discriminated against for race or gender.

Nor for a physical defect. But merit trumps DEI. That is foremost in our high tech civilization. Otherwise the complex system will fall apart. An example would be an unqualified airline mechanic.

Nobody should discriminate against people based on skin color, race, religion, etc.
