Hmmm. I don't think that's how this works. I could be wrong, of course.

My son sometimes gets "time and a half" if he agrees to work extra hours or weekends or Holidays in the manufacturing plant.

He sometimes made time and a half if he worked the Night Shift.

But then, that kind of job doesn't involve tips.

My daughter is a Nurse. I think she makes more an hour if she works the Night Shift. But that kind of job doesn't involve tips, either.

What kind of job involving tipping also involves an increased hourly wage if you work overtime or weekends or Holidays?
