Rene Descartes got it bassackwards.

To titilate starstruck Philosophy 101 newbies for ages to come, Descartes offered this alluring phrase: "Cogito, ergo sum" ... "I think, therefore I am". Just WOW! Smashing! Powerful metaphysical paydirt. Borderline genius.

But, little did he realize that he got it backwards.

In reality, I am, therefore I think.

If I ain't, I can't think ... Right?

So, from now on, it's "Sum, ergo cogito".

For centuries on end, philosophical scholars will remember that Mondo Fuego™ set Rene Descartes straight. It took some doings to shake up an epistemological/ontological/metaphysical iconic giant, but I showed up at just the right time.

I dropped my DNR with you assuming that you would correspondingly alter your habits. This has not proven true. You continue to stalk my posts offering your unwelcome and very often dissociative remarks. I tried stalking your posts in order to show you what it feels like, but you seem so wrapped up in yourself that you don't seem to notice.

The question of what came first, the chicken or the egg comes to mind. Profound implications for intelligent design and a Creator. The Bible God many times states in various usages the “I am”. Therefore the “I am” was first. Otherwise the impossible self-creation (universe) would have come first and there would be no “I am”.

No one will notist or care.

went off on a thinking-tangent that was fun thought. I AM! Rocks can be beautiful but they are not and cannot conceive a thought. Only LIFE can. Narcissistic? Nope.
