Planned death

There have been more people with incurable conditions choosing the time and means of death. Imo we often treat our pets better than people. Your thoughts? Feelings?

We all die eventually anyway.

Some people get long lives, some get short lives.

If people are in pain and they don't want to stay here anymore, we should let them go. We should even help them end things if they need help. There should be a medical consultation first.

Hospitals should focus more on improving our quality of life, instead of just delaying the inevitable death.

And we all have an afterlife.

When we die will we go to heaven or hell?

If we go to heaven, there’s nothing to worry about.

If we got to hell, there are only two things to worry about:
original or extra crispy?

People who choose not to be with God on earth will likewise not be with Him in heaven. There’s only one other option.

Bible believers know it. And don’t find it difficult to know that the relationship they now have with God will continue even better after
death.

People who took the jab are sick and dying. Death stalks the health insurance companies much to the delight of SS rolls. We are stuck with the emotional and intellectual conundrum of the eventual biological demise. We’ve known the contract from when the shocking concept was first made conscious. There is a reason and a season. God knows best. Let me know what you knew before you were conceived and not aborted.

Look, Gog, your rant about the jab isn't the topic. But you knew that.

The VAST majority of people who got their vaccines benefited from it. Side effects are common among many medications (watch commercials from time to time).

Anyway the question is ... is it ethical for people to be able to chose their time of death. I believe it is, and even compassionate. I would agree that some type of mental review should be done first, but beyond that... our life is our own.

I know someone with terminal cancer.

He's spoken to me of his diminished life and his wish to just end things. Everyone around him, family and friends alike, find that nearly impossible to discuss with any objectivity, probably because this fellow has brought nothing but warmth and delight to all around him for so long a time. It's a case of his desires vs what we around him perceive of as our loss.
In theory I believe in autonomy, but wow, when I come face-to-face with the reality I'm really torn. I can't find a way out. I understand his wishes on every level, yet cannot bring myself past reminding him that a botched attempt of some sort could make things worse.

Tell your friend Canada does not do botch jobs.

I believe Americans are encouraged to go north. It’s a service. Anyone suffering from severe debilitating pain and expresses a desire to end it should be encouraged. I’m for self- euthanasia. Particularly at the near-end of life. It’s not an abortion.
