Health is now on topic.

I just changed the title of the board and description. Health, physical fitness and longevity are on topic. There was never any rule against those topics, but now they are on-topic.

Some of us have been to together for over 25 years. Now we are getting old and need to take care of our health.

One of the politicians said we should we "Make America Healthy Again". That seems like a good non-partisan goal most people will agree is important.

If God exists, he would want us to take care of our health and our bodies. Life is like a valuable gift from God. We should take care of that gift he gave us.

If there is no such thing as heaven, then this life is all we get. We should take care of ourselves during this life.

Importance of diet choices

Ninja. About 14 ounces. It’s my new diet. Raw fruits and veggies. yogurt, juice. I’m already feeling more energetic. But at dinner my diet is full bore. I’ve lost 15 lbs in six weeks. This is not about vanity. At 80 there is none left.

For me eating right and staying in shape is not about vanity either.

Its about living a quality life.

Worked for me, but I still have stiffness some mornings.

If you get a reverse like I got, (socket on arm, ball on shoulder) you use a different set of muscles. Takes a while to get going again, but it is pain-free now.

I confess I avoided hip replacement for year, fearing the outcome. Now I've had two and it's the best choice I ever made

It's truly amazing what these Drs do.

See if your bed is suitable for your back. You may need a body pillow of some sort.

Take alive first thing in the AM or before a time you really need to feel at your best

Massage helps

Place one under each armpit just before turning in. You need to advise where in the shoulder. How long have you had the condition? How did it occur?
