A pretty good-sized chunk of the LGB aren't all that happy with being lumped in with the T. Which makes sense even if most of those fully support equal rights for trans folk: LGB are sexual orientations. T is gender identity. They're not remotely the same thing. Combining them all into one is a category error.

What you state makes a lot of sense.

LGBT people should have the same rights as everyone else.

Maybe it's just the end of extremism. They should not have any extra rights that others don't have.

Treat everyone with dignity, respect, recognize the right to self-determination and right of choice. . . and no one, no group, etc. gets special privileges.

Everyone equal, no more and no less.

All people should have the right to love who they want, dress how they want, and identify as they want. I don't care what other people do in their bedrooms. It's when people try to push their lifestyle or choices onto others that draws pushback... but that is true with religion, too. I don't mind seeing trans, gays, or whatever on TV or in movies, as I can turn the channel if I want... but when they go into schools or have huge parades blocking traffic, or try to push their agenda onto others for special rights or privileges, that's what puts a lot of people off, IMO. But, the same can said for those who go into schools or politics trying to push their religious beliefs, agenda or preferences onto others, too. It's uncalled for. This is supposed to be a free country.
