Charlie aroused that truth, that love of freedom which recognizes God as its source, not man, not government. They can only protect it.

Once those who love freedom realize it’s source they become changed people. Their love of God and country explodes.
It’s happening worldwide. ( As is its opposition). God used Charlie
to magnify the truth, the idea that cannot be killed.

Obvious even somewhat on this board when the likes of KR and Muffintop. just want to demean or shut up viewpoints they don’t agree with, and are either too lazy or unavpble to make rational arguments as to why their pov is valid.

Worldwide acclimation (which I’m thinking you’re unaware of given your sources) - the millions, even in China, holding public vigils,continue to demonstrate the effectiveness and godliness of his message, his life, his demonstration of living Christianity.

means popularity, but that is not the same thing as the worth of an idea.

I will make the same request of you that I did of Trish (or anyone else who cares to respond).

Like I said, I never heard of Kirk until he was murdered. There is so much reaction out there that I am having a bit of a hard time shifting through it all to discover what he said, in context. Arguments have moved to the forefront.

I am not looking for someone's else's summary or conclusions. I am looking for 'from the horse's mouth' type stuff - not little snippets or clips, but opinions/statements offered in context.

If you have any resources you care to offer. . . I like looking at both sides of the equation before forming any judgement.

interacting with students, interviewers, et al. Googling “Charlie Kirk speaking” brings up a lot of videos. Original sources are always critical in determining the facts.

The main thing I’ve derived from all of this is his belief is that what he held dear in terms of freedom (and his love of country and its intended purposes) drove him to consider the source of freedom, and he believed that it came from God, that man can only protect and defend it. He justified what he believed with a socratic style interaction with his students, effectively causing healthy discussion among many of the young. In many ways it reminds me of what we know about Socrates and how he angered the teachers of his time by causing the students to question the rhetoric. In the end Athens put him to death for that.

but have content and context included regarding Kirk and his comments. I haven't been all that successful (admittedly I just started researching last night).

There are a ton of vids and written resources praising Kirk - others that dive into partisan politics and us vs them religious arguing, post-murder.

So far I found one vid - a recording of Kirk being interviewed by a college (I think - I must check that) over in the UK. It got too late for me to watch the entire vid - maybe today I can finish. So far, your typical evangelical stuff which isn't of personal interest to me.

However, he did say he doesn't approve for abortion in the case of rape. In my book, that's one strike against him. I will continue my search as time permits.

In the meantime if you have any resources that are worthy of consideration. . .

It’s obvious that you never heard him speak or that you think everyone is easily deceived.

He’s being honored around the world with huge demonstrations and his picture postered largely, Australia,Great Britain, Spain, Italy, etc al, evenChina - people who love freedom everywhere. Charlie understood freedom and its source.
