Of course. It’s an acknowledgement of loyalty to not just a cause

but to the region below the Mason-Dixon Line. I think the most patriotic region in the US has earned dispensation for the Stars and Bars. Our best military recruits are from the South. Loyal now to the US federal monstrosity, to a fault. I wish I had that flag to fly.
