The world has determined Christianity to be a hindrance to " freedom" in this life. Even while still being under the shackles of sin.
There is:
Poverty of spirit. Poverty of soul. Poverty of home.
I could list the infractions of those freedoms they say my religion has caused, according to them..however the simple truth is .. they are the freedoms. Because I don't live in them anymore. I have a life and it is abundantly living in me as I submit to God.
The world sees that the...
Murder of the innocents...is desired .. abortion, wars, the elimination of one's enemies. Trafficking of our women and children... Is ignored Lawlessness... schemers against authority. Wickedness in high and low places...sexual immorality. Witchcraft...in every immoral activity and venue.
...is somehow normal. But it isn't.
Why am I writing this? Am I not as guilty of those whom I perceived heading in the wrong direction?
I'm convinced most will never accept my testimony as true nor Jesus' redemptive sacrifice easily accepted without some sort of "proof" either scientific or logical... it's an otherwise proposition to many.
Repent. Turn from one's sins. Accept Jesus offer for forgiveness. Walk in new life. Accept heaven as a reality whose way is now clear of obstruction from a sinful path we ALL walk.
His blood did make the way.
I know it as a fact.
You see what I post, what my stories are about, how I interpret them in the light of my age and closer reverence for God.
What you don't see in me, nor I in you either admittedly so, are the scars on my heart, mind, soul, and body that brought me to this present place in my life. My persuit of something better worth sharing. Some have called it one beggar telling another where to find bread.
The bread of life. Jesus.
There are things in this life I love and those I hate. Do we have a choice in changing, sooner than later?
Yes. We can all sit at the table together.
Maybe that table I sat around with my brothers and sister, grandparents, friends and neighbors... was set just like it was for a reason.... to have and know fellowship with a God who cares and is involved in every bit of my, and your...life.
What is heaven really about I wonder... if we can have a peace about this life finally right where we're at?
And not poverty.
You should take time to stay at a monastery.

There are monks in Oregon. Are they Trappist? I do know at this time of year they roll out their fruit cake. Soaked in spirits, it’s the best anywhere. Your post has reminded me to order a tin. In this world Christians have fallen away. The vacuum invites massive demonic cultural depravity. It’s global. And what do globalist hate the most? Christians. The US Constitution. White folk.
He will wash away, every year...from his children's eyes...and put a smile upon their faces . what a happy day, when we see, our Lord in paradise, crowned as King of Kings...
