Is it okay to notice someone is fat, bald, and ugly?

If I text Indian for an India person, it’s misleading. But if I were to use turban-head, there would be no confusion. Is turban-head okay to use?

I see no reason to treat hostile ragheads with respect.

"raghead" is an offensive and derogatory slur.

There are millions of turban wearers in the world. Most of them are not terrorists.

It is fine to call out and condemn terrorists and other dangerous people. Terrorists from all nationalities are dangerous.

Some people with no turban can be just as dangerous as turban wearers.

That thinking gets innocent people killed, the same thinking that makes red Maga hat wearers subject to violence.

And the reason is that it’s wrong to suggest that “all” Muslims are bad (no matter what their religion may teach) just as it’s wrong to assume that all who call themselves Christian actually love their fellow man.

someone who is both crass and ill informed. Turbans are worn in many places. Indian is the correct name for people from India though some also also identify themselves according to area of origin, and other languages.

Well, I find the turban to be as bizarre as is the burqa.

To equate turbans with burqas misses the point of both.

I dislike burqas because they are among the most oppressive statements of oppression and the wearer’s obeisance to that
purpose.

Quite the opposite, turbans represent positivity.

thinking that you can dismiss the significance of various clothing in all manner of life can be identified as meaningful, not especially to the wearer but to those in like uniform/costume/vestments, as well as any observer? What a waste of brain power.

I would also add that head covering in many cases is a way of showing humility before god. I fail to see why that's so threatening to some.

Is it a Constitutional issue? Do States, cities have laws describing it? Do all or most Americans follow it, or is merely whatever one chooses which, of course, would include burqas unless prohibited by law.
