Do you think a ghost might live in your house?

My house is over two hundred years old. It has two stories. It has had a very extensive remodeling . In fact I could have built a new house cheaper than restoring this one. Sometimes when you have things done to the house strange things happen. The upstairs is where most of the action take place. Years ago people don’t use funeral homes they were laid out at home . Maybe they are lost souls not liking change .

"Ghosts" are mere fairy tales.

but two of the homes I've lived in *seemed* to have ghosts (I use that word because I know the difference between what I believe and what I can prove)

So many stories from pictures being moved to watching my just talking child have full-on conversations to thin air...

And I understand what you mean by renovations. My first real home was the first on the block laid as a school house initially. Glorious victorian, with some furniture pieces original to the home. I found when I went to move certain items, the space grew cold. Suddenly I felt like I was doing something wrong so I left the pieces be (and left them when we moved out of respect for whoever's spirit remained)

At times I do think that. I had this house built.

The noises are all over the structure. Not all the time. In waves. Mice? Some of it. Poltergeist? Land movement? Maybe. I’ve thought the mountainside might be moving. Whatever, at times it’s spooky. I’ve never seen a ghost nor any kind of apparition
