Bring Back Constitutional Monarchy in Iran.

Frankly, I dislike monarchy because there should be no hereditary offices in a democracy. HOWEVER, in practice, constitutional monarchy has been highly successful in Europe. We cannot insist on an ideologically pure regime, because that would be STUPID. The People of Iran must make their OWN CHOICES, choices made with respect to real conditions and real compromises. There is no choice between ideologically PURE democracy and the current tyranny, but between Reza Pahlavi and the crazy mullahs. The choice is EASY for reasonable persons: Long Live Shah Reza Pahlavi! Long Live the Constitutional Monarchy of Iran.

The Shah is the reason we ended up in this situation.

We put a vicious dictator in power because we didn't like Iranian democracy, setting off the chain of events that led to the current mess.
Can't understand your position, but then you favor the leadership another monstrous rogue state, so I guess we shouldn't be surprised.

The democracy the U.S. destroyed was far better than the Shah and his SAVAK

Which is why the Ayatollahs were able to eventually seize power. Now, the Ayatollahs are worse than Netanyahu, but why sit and compare monsters?

Bill of RIGHTS. Without that casting stone, the Iranians will just be back to the terror state Reza’s father the CIA operated. Oh wait, can’t take the risk of free speech, bear arms, etc.?
