California is the most beautiful place I ever been too. I loved the big trees the mountains and the elk . Living in California is a dream it is a beautiful place

Since then it’s become overcrowded with third world illegals. And outrageous taxes. Newsom is on the hot seat. If he thinks a few imported insurance companies will replace the socialist destruction of three major west coast refineries, he is unfit for office. Delusional. If the dot com AI scheme collapses, California will be in serious economic trouble. I’ve lived here for over 50 years. The social deterioration is patently obvious. I think half the population is mentally ill, but the new morph is they are sane. And my kind of people are insane. I could move out of state, and did. Bought a house (cash). An “act of God”‘destroyed it. I moved back to my old ranchette taking that as a sign to stay put. It’s beautiful where I live. But third world druggies and pot growers have made the surrounding areas into shite holes. Bring on ICE!

and prior!!.....My friends that still HAVE to live there in Southern California want their children and grandchildren (which many have) to move out of the sad state of California.....but as you say they tax you 5% if you do.....

It started going bad in the 60's and it has never recovered!

Weather was great today. Dry, sunny, windy and clear.

I disagree with Newsome on some things, but I am still here.

Maybe he got home insurance companies to come here, but he is driving away oil companies and Fast Food Restaurants. He gave me a $9,500 rebate for buying an EV, but we have the highest gas tax in the country and that drives people away.

most home are in sunny areas, so people can put solar panels right on their roofs.

Yes, our geography causes smog problems. The mountains hold the smog in the cities.

There are also ways to put verticle space to use for farming
