They are stupid. Unfortunately for humanity we are ‘intelligent’. Look where that has gotten us. A junkyard planet.. the ability to commit specie suicide. Not smart at all. It seems the theorists have it ass backwards.

Evolution is like a tree, with branches and with extinct common ancestors.
