A Waymo robot swerved into my lane and almost hit me today.

Robots have some problems, but one of their strengths should be staying awake and staying in their own lane.

Sorry the video quality is not very good, but if you pause at just the right time you can see it's wheel moved over the lane line.

Hmmm. People rent them and have elicit sex inside.

Tinted windows. Hands free. Best watch where one sits. Carry a disposal towel. Of course the camera records it all. AI was too busy voyeuring and failed to keep it attention on the road. That’s one possibility.

Thanks. I'm used to humans doing that, but I was surprised to see a Waymo do it too.

It was not very bad, just surprising.

Waymo has trouble with other things. Waymos sometimes ignore police directions, they sometimes get confused and stop where a human driver would keep driving.

They should be better than a human in a situation like this (they should be good at staying alert and staying in their lane).
