If you had the chance to be immortal, would you take it?

Your body will be frozen at its current age, and these effects would be final and irreversible. The instructions are clear — the only question is, do you drink the potion? "

I'm not religious. I don't believe in heaven. I think this life is all we get.

The potion would make me immune to disease and serious injuries. That means I could have fun riding my bicycle fast downhill without much worry about serious injuries.

I would think about how my uncle had it and apparently chose not to drink it. Maybe my uncle was smart and knew it would be a bad idea, but I would still say yes.

I would stay the same, but it would not be boring because the world around me would change and I would be able to watch humanity advance and start colonizing other planets.

No. I’m bored. Life is a theme about rinse and repeat.

One just gets older, reenacting what has already been experienced. I would prefer to return as a newborn baby. A clean slate. No memories, no baggage. Just a renewed sense of wonder at the Creation. Perhaps an intervention into our realm by Aliens could perk me up. And that is a real probability.

ONLY if my family & friends could survive along with me; especially my wife.

Because I could never exhaust the possible experiences to explore.

How could I ever remain the same? I would learn. I could live out lifetimes in different places. I could change my appearance in many forms. I would take risks I might never have. I would meet new people and reminisce about all of them through lifetimes too.

Even in the premise entropy continues and eventually the end of an era.

Change your appearance? To what? What form?

I would have lifetimes to live with different things to try. Tattoos can be added changed altered removed. Other physical attributes could be modified. Facial features, height, maybe even genetic modifications to improve abilities at some time, vision, hearing, etc.
In theory I could hold my breath indefinitely while I wait for things and people to change. LOL!

Maybe. It was just a thought about possibilities to explore.

Overall I'm ok with my physical self now. I would like to be more fit and I'm working toward that now.

Well, most on your wish list a plastic surgeon can tweak.

And your legs can be lengthened via a good bone surgeon. Why don’t we just say we all want to physically be 20 years of age. One certainty, we can toss out our time pieces. Why monitor eternity? I’m thinking of gettting a hair system (wig). God is in the mix because vanity has little to do with it. Keep it pure. Replacing a beanie with a “rug”.
