Collasped at home bed time a month ago.

Not discovered for twelve plus hours. Just got home from rehab today. Doctors don't know why.

Diagnosis is the weak link in medicine and why we treat the symptoms, not knowing the reason why.

One aspect of aging, we don't deal with, is that health is most likely to get worse not get better. Aging is part of the process of dying. Likely I am near the end of my life. At my age, I am always aware of that. Older people are always aware of potential death.

Glad you recovered and had a friend who checked on you.

It’s always frustrating when the doctors can’t determine what happened. I hope you continue to feel better.

Amazing that I survived it. Not the first time that I have survived something that should have killed me.

a housing complex. I’m not there all the time, but preparing for when. Sorry you are having issues. Who groves old gracefull? Pure BS!!

GOG, the one that I worked in was decent, but I would not want to live there. The one I lived in as far worse.

I taken an apartment in a senior housing complex. 55 and older. It’s designed in every way for old folk. Never thought I would see the day having to begin the transition. I come and go. It’s a move towards no more off the grid living, sad to say. Glad you were rescued and are up and about.

GOG, Good luck on your new home, may it allow you to live as fully as possible to enjoy your life. Quality of life is so damn important to happiness.

I'm still working full time driving, but I feel myself getting weaker. I'm afraid I might need "senior living" in 10 or 20 years.

Ken, another reason that I post articles, typing is constant mistakes and correction. More so as I get older.

So glad you are still with us!

I have a friend who has been through so much in the last couple of years, I am amazed he is still here. He has had heart problems (stent in the widow-maker and implanted device), hernia surgery, eye surgery, chemo treatments for cancer, lung treatments, dialysis for kidneys, two hip replacements…. It’s amazing what a person can go through. He spent so much time in the hospital in the last couple of years, I honestly didn’t think he would still be here, but he seems to be doing much better now! They think the chemo he was on before damaged his heart and the kidneys, but they have him on a much better treatment now, and his cancer numbers are way down, and he no longer has to do dialysis.
