Seems like a monumental waste of time for (some) Jews

If God is an idiot for forgiving them for all the times they turned away and did what was right in their own eyes, is that god worth studying and worshiping? If a person is more intelligent than their god, what is the point, other than going through the motions?

For SOME, yes. For others, NO. I do NOT speak for all Jews.
