I think I should move.

Move to Alabama. You can realize a 25% boost to your income simply because the cost of living

Rift raft and illegals. My old beach haunts were taken over by brown people. And the ruling political class here is so woke they are asleep to everything but grift and fraud. It’s sad.

The human race can make or produce about anything but we are breeding like rabbits and it is very very hard to make more land mass in a climate that attracts humans which causes inflation of unreal proportions when you concentrate the population.

I grew up near your neighborhood and was amazed...

...at the prices they get for a home my Dad bought for $10K in 1951.

It was a nice place when I was a kid.
(Duncan St & Zelzah, sandwiched between Victory and the LA River)

Yes, I live about a mile from there. It's a nice suburb.

Close enough to the center of Los Angeles to avoid long commutes, but's away from the overcrowded center of the city.

Too many homeless people like to live near the LA river because it's cool quiet and shady.

High gas taxes make our gas the most expensive in the country. Too many regulations make it hard to build new homes. Other bad government decisions make our cost of living too high.

I might move in a year.
