Have you ever worked on an assembly line?

Toyota makes their workers do the same thing thousands of times per day.

Tesla has robots to do the tedious boring stuff.

This video makes me glad there are robots to do the boring redundant work for humans.

I've had some good jobs and some low paying jobs. All my jobs had variety and I never had to keep doing the same exact thing all day.

No but I've had extremely boring jobs.

Check out clerk was a boring job. I also was forced to stand all the time. No idea why. Maybe to save the company from buying chairs or stools.

If robotics save us from boring tasks, they can also take jobs away from us. You take the bitter with the sweet.

Robots are already taking work from me. We have robot taxis here in Los Angeles.

I drive people all over the city. We are slowly getting more and more robot taxis. I am already spending too much time waiting for work, and it will gradually get worse over the next few years.

I'm trying to be optimistic and looking at the bright side. It's good the robots are also doing the boring stuff.

It might make sense to move out of LA.

We also have expensive rent here. I might move next year.
