No blood guts and gore. No whiz bang dazzling special effects. No crazy super fast paced action. No doubt many who like that stuff will find it boring. I found it recently while net surfing. It stars Louis Jourdan, Carroll O'Connor, Linda Day, and I think his name is Bradford Dillon or something like that. Its called Fear No Evil and was released 1969.
Jourdan is a psychiatrist who also dabbles in investigating the unexplained. O'Connor is a physicist who also dabbles in the occult. Really wild seeing him in that roll. I have visions of Archie Bunker dancing in my head. O'Connor and his band of curious dabblers end up unleashing something better left alone. It's creepy which is my kind of supernatural story. It's done with mirrors, really. It's short. Less than a 2 hour run.
