What is your view of Richard Dawkins?

I ask this because I'm interested in what you people here think of him. He has written a lot of books. The books are flawed in lots of ways. Also, he seems salty. Very salty towards God. He's an angry man.

His writings are provocative, accessible, and revolutionary.

The God Delusion is an aggressive challenge to faith, particularly fundamentalism.

The Genetic Book of the Dead is both elegant and witty.

There's no anger in his presentations (you only perceive that because he challenges your belief system).

God's (assuming something resembling the usual definition thereof) existence cannot be proven, but it can be demonstrated to be a not-unreasonable belief. That reasonableness hinges on the probable impossibility of conclusively ruling out supernatural phenomena.

Faith suffices (as good ol' Soren Kierkegaard showed us so many years ago...).
