Arrests in crackdown over misuse of funds meant to combat L.A. homeless crisis

Los Angeles has too many homeless people. Some of them are working, but they can't afford a home because taxes and housing are too expensive.

We have high taxes, and the tax money allegedly goes to help the homeless.

Instead of taxing and spending and wasting to help the homeless, would it be better to lower taxes so more people can afford homes?

Maybe we could reduce government regulations to make it easier to build more home.

I drive around Los Angeles. I see many homeless people and I see giant mansions.

PURPOSE of programs to assist the poor is to provide excuse to siphon public monies to politicians.

Concert that was to benefit the Palisades victims and others who were left destitute?? The Annenberg Foundation shelled out most of it to sleazy NGOs and therein lies the criminal activity. Further, USAid had $Billions misappropriated into leftist political NGOs including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘charities’. When will those thieves be arrested? And add the grifting NGO Globalist 2030 agenda to the arrest warrants. The LA fraud, while of no small measure, pales in comparison to what the US tax pays have shelled out to massive political front organizations.

In 1974 they built a housing project for poor people in the town I live in still looks very nice

They were one level brick homes with a small yard a playground for children . The rent was based on your income. It created jobs building them and it created a few jobs on up keep ect. The people who live in them has rules which kept people out who would not keep up with their home. I don’t think the people were asking for a handout they were looking for a chance . After 50 years the place still looks nice and neat no trash no junk cars . I think drug testing should be mandatory to rent these places .

There are examples of worthy note. I know there are more than enough trashy people in my region.
