1 (14 oz.) bag Kraft caramels
2 tbsp. water
4 to 5 apples

Clean and stick apples. Melt caramels with water in a double boiler. Carefully dip the apples into the melted candy. Set on greased wax paper to cool.
Optional: Roll apples in chopped nuts or flake coconut while still warm, if desired. Cinnamon red hots (candy) may be melted in with the caramel if a cinnamon taste and red color is desired.
