I was young, and the P.O.P.E.* had just told Fr. Rinaldi n all
the Priests that they could tell us that we could read the
Bible without a priest being present !! In English!
That was new -

I got Father Pete upset when I kept asking
him questions which I thought were legit.

Like:

If heaven is a spiritual realm, why were Elijah and Enoch and
Jesus and his mother Mary taken up physically? Mmmm — ???

If Lamech was away defending his country and his wife’s
story of the angel n her artificial insemination, with Noah
being born ‘bright’ actual factual, and

If Noah and his family and the animals and the seeds
were the only things to survive the flood… ???

Well, it was a larger gene pool then when there
were just Adam n his rib-wife…

Unless Adam n Eve did some mating with those
humans the God created in Genesis 1, before
He rested.

Nobody knows what He was
up to while He was resting.

Point is, there was a Flood n
the gene pool left behind
was smaller than before…

We’ve been in-breeding ever since before
the Ice melted, all because when He said
“Don’t!”, she didn’t listen…

Father Peter had no answers
