In September 2003, around dusk, a group of firefighters near Del Loma, California, had an incredible encounter while setting up camp close to a river during a wildfire training assignment. One firefighter was pulled out of her tent by a crew member to witness a massive, hairy figure, around 7 feet tall, casually walking along the riverbank. This Bigfoot seemed calm and curious, standing on its hind legs and observing the group before making a swift exit into the dense trees, pushing them aside effortlessly as it disappeared from sight. The witness noted how this creature moved without making a sound and was left with a newfound respect for its existence. As she reflected on the experience, she shared, “When seeing one in real life, you get a sense of respect for them and just have that feeling that there is more to life than you know.”
