Went to a Catholic high school where we
had to wear uniforms so instead four of
us formed a band where we didn’t and
called us ‘The Shadows’.

When we found out, there was a band
from England called the shadows we
changed our name…

Since the Beatles were becoming popular
someone in the band came up with the
name. ‘The Insex’ and practice in our
basement.

That lasted until Mom saw what was on
the drumhead and said that ‘that is
uncalled for! there’ll be no sex in this
house. Get rid of that!

so we ended up as ‘the Uncalled IV’ until
the summer of ‘68 when we played the
islands of Greece as ‘The Sky House’
