amazing how racial inequality is woven into the
fabric of this nation, which was built in greater
part than easily acknowledged, upon the backs
of many black men n from the wombs of many
black women, some of whom were even owned
by wealthy white men elected to some of the
highest offices in the land as they made the
decisions that would lead the Republic of
America from its colonial roots of various
ethnicities into an unknown future…

That being said, that Republican Party, which
consisted of members who wished for all the
ideals of equality, freedom, and justice be
upheld is not the same as the Republican
Party that represents the corporate and
wealthy self-servers of this day and age
when adoration and worship are warped
with a dollar sign attached n held high…

When I think I see dark clouds on the horizon
portend a storm coming, bringing with it rain,
I attribute it to climatic factors and a change
in temperature; though I may be wrong.

When I see the events of the day on the TV,
they seem to pretend a storm coming; and
I hope I’m wrong…
